You can't have it both ways. Do you realize how heavily the US depends on this 'enemy'?
People travel globally now. The Coronavirus was spread initially by travelers returning home. Now people without such contacts are carriers and are infecting others.
Instead of criticizing take this time to see that our the world has almost come to a stop. Politicians in Canada, for instance, are cooperating in an effort to stop or at lease slow down the contagion rate. At first they squabbled but now they are acting in unison, no matter what party they belong to.
...Countries are starting to think of their population's safety first as opposed to the mighty dollar.
...Let's enjoy a time where collaboration is the news of the day. State senators and politicians, on both sides are working for the good of all. That's what politics should be about.

trump could very realistically postpone the election indefinitely and the world not buying chinas crap means they are going broke .. so no, china isnt responsible for whats going on .. if anything the west is completely realigning itself to be more self reliant and not as reliant on china ..
