Jehovah's Witnesses, since the public preaching work has been "virtually suspended," does this mark the start of the 1290 days of Daniel 12?
I've repeated this question because 'Paul' has blocked me. Below you will find the answer to his question.

I'm sorry, but it seems many have missed the point of my repeating HIS question, this was his question, not mine or Jehovah's Witnesses. Many have jumped on the 'Let's insult Jehovah's Witnesses band wagon."The whole question is based upon a lie, and many here have agreed with his lie.One must ask themselves, 'how many people believing a lie does it take to make the lie the truth?

There is no indication from our Leader Jesus Christ in the scriptures that what is happening now due to the virus is any fulfillment of scripture except this one, and I quote Jesus:
"There will be great earthquakes, and in one place after another food shortages and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and from heaven great signs." Luke 21:11
We see the fulfillment of all of these features of the sign right now.
Although there will be a time when the world-wide preaching and witnessing work will end, that end will be by Jehovah's command, not man's. Until then, this command still remains, and we are obligated to obey our Leader and Head:
Matthew 24:14
14 And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Matthew 28:19,20
19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”
How about these powerful texts, to think of true hope? Both of true hope earthly & heavenly as Jesus stated!
*** Bible Citations *** Isaiah 45:18 18 For this is what Jehovah says, The Creator of the heavens, the true God, The One who formed the earth, its Maker who firmly established it, Who did not create it simply for nothing, but formed it to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else"
Please note Christ's expressions of both the heavenly & earthly hope as Jesus corrects Nicodemus
(John 3:9-12) 9" In answer, Nic·o·deʹmus said to him: “How can these things be?” 10 Jesus replied: “Are you a teacher of Israel and yet do not know these things? 11 Most truly I say to you, what we know we speak, and what we have seen we bear witness to, but you do not receive the witness we give. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you still do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things"?
1930’s and especially during the second world war, the king of the north attacked God’s people without mercy. When the Nazi party took control of Germany, Hitler and his followers banned the work of God’s people. The opposers killed hundreds of Jehovah’s people and sent thousands more to concentration camps. Those events were foretold by Daniel. The king of the north was able to “profane the sanctuary” and “remove the constant feature” by severely restricting the freedom of God’s servants to praise Jehovah’s name publicly. (Dan. 11:30b, 31a) Its leader, Hitler, even vowed that he would exterminate God’s people in Germany.
