It depends on the figures you use to determine the %, the right want to try to compare it to either total population, or, tests done, to keep the figure as low as possible, hoeever if you compare it to positive tests youre about right, compare it to hospitalisations and its around 12%. Reopening before the peak is passed is foolish to put it mildly, because it will simply spike again and close everything down again, catastrophically. You statistical evaluation sucks. You are LEAVING OUT the EVER GROWING number of cases being discovered daily of people who are found to have had COVID-19 that never knew they did and the statistics surrounding how many more of them are out there. All this is dropping the morality rate below 0.6%!
