Is it possible to have increased heart rate after drinking diet coke?

I drank a bottle of diet coke and two hours later I had my heart rate about 120. I could not stay home. I went outside for a walk and then I felt better. Could diet coke be the reason?

Yes it is full of caffeine. It does the same to me, I avoid it.

Not 2 hours later, it would be far more immediate from the caffeine.
