No! I know that drinking water before meals can help to eat less, and although water contains no calories it is the most essential factor for all body cells to perform its function. Water is essential for all chemical reactions and metabolic activities in every cell or organ in human body. so, I think that drinking much water is not a way to loose weight , but its a way to prevent obesity and improve all body functions.

Not really, but it might still help you lose weight by making your body processes more efficient.

A few may be walking and old exercise burns many, many more. But the water helps flush out the wast from the system so in that way it will help you keep going!

Drinking a glass of drinking water as against a glass of water at temperature just consumes around eight calories. Your basal rate , which keeps your organs working, consumes about 70% of your calories. Active work adds about 20% and assimilation about 10%.

Our bodies can burn calories in several ways: basal metabolic rate (BMR), physical activity and digestion. Drinking cold water rather than warm is not one of them.

Or least cold water does not burn enough calories to be worthy of mentioning. “If your goal is weight loss and burning more calories, I wouldn’t spend time on the temperature of the water, but rather on reducing calories by snacking on fruits instead of cookies, Drinking a glass of ice water rather than a glass of water at room temperature only burns about eight calories. Your basal metabolic rate, which keeps your organs functioning, burns about 70% of your calories. Physical activity adds about 20% and digestion about 10%. The idea that drinking cold water must burn more calories developed from the belief that our bodies expend energy to warm up. It is true that your body will work to raise its temperature to 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit, but it will only expend about eight calories to do this. Eight calories is the equivalent of a small pickle

Nah. if it does it is a trace amount (<<<<<1) calorie per sip of water. Really not significant enough to rely on as a good method of calorie burning. You'd burn more calories running 20 meters in a sprint than you'd burn drinking 4 litres of water.

Drinking water does actually burn a very small amount of calories because it works your digestion ever so slightly and that work needs energy from calories even though there isn't any calories in most water.
