Why is it hard to be mature?

I mean, EVERYTHING one does shouldn't be judged on maturity, nor be warranted as mature or immature. We all grow up differently.

Mature means to be responsible or to act responsibly which includes truly taking responsibility for your words and actions. It has nothing to do with how we grow up but the decisions we make. It also does not mean that you can't have fun or be silly sometimes, or color your hair pink, or be unique.
