Me= t + echnology (cleaner running vehicles, factories, homes etc.) Machines doing more of the work. - family structure, government corruption, lazyness, reliance on drugs, loss of moral guidance.

Unless the country and the government, and the globe begins to immediately invest in clean air, clean water, clean earth and refocuses our lifestyles to embrace a greatly needed change, ten years from now in the US will be a much less pleasant situation. We will find out that we have no "right" to clean air, no "right" to clean water and no right to healthy non-poisoned soil. Everything else is just nonsense layered on top of that fact to confuse and deny but we are past the point of denial.
