Is it possible to be a master pokemon trainer and a good father at the same time? ?

i mean, anything's possible, but i'd generally say no. to be a good trainer, you need to be traveling to expose your pokemon to all sorts of different environments and species of other pokemon. all that traveling is well and good for kids and teens since they don't have many responsibilities or people who rely on them, but for an adult, it would prevent you from spending time with your family unless they traveled with you too. i think that's why most trainers are kids, teens, or older people (like the veteran trainer class). other adults may battle, but they typically use pokemon they've had for a long time and those pokemon are pets as well as battle partners. most adults give up on being serious trainers because their interpersonal life is more important. most serious trainers with teams of 5 or 6 and good type coverage aren't people with many other responsibilities...Show more
