Parents. Would you be ok with your 15 year old son/daughter meeting some 57 y/o guy of the Internet and getting into his Jeep to “hang out” ?

My younger brother is 15 and recently I found tects on his phone wanting to meet up with this creep, and this guy says he wants to meet him in the park and he’ll pick him up in his Jeep, and they’ll “get to know each other” and he has all kinds of ideas of things they could do. My mom wants to keep an eye on my brothers social media and phone activity, so she has me go through his phone since she’s technology illiterate. This is when I found the texts. We called the police after this, and they said technically simply meeting a minor over the age of 14 isn’t illegal, unless it’s for sexual purposes. Does any of this seem alright to you.

No, not in the slightest.

You should have handed the phone to the appropriate police unit, who handles child rapes and molestation.  It is not right and it would be for sexual purposes.  And you would never see your child again.  Sold into sexual slavery.  Big money in that.

I think this 57 year old needs to find friends his own age. This is weird. I would say no to it. He'll thank you later.

Relax, he probably just wants to rawdog him
