That is who they are now. Republicans will deflect by saying the Democratic party founded the KKK, but that is irrelevant. I am a Green supporter if you must know. The Republican party is the party of racists, kooks, conspiracy theorists, religious extremists and fascists. I wouldn't be surprised if Republicans admire Adolf Hitler.

Don't lump everyone you disagree with together into the same group. I don't like the Republican Party either, but there are many different trends within the Republican Party (neo-conservatives, libertarian conservatives, moderates, nationalists like Trump, Christian fundamentalists, etc.)
