They need to learn that nothing is free. If the "impoverished" poor little .... "kids" need to work for their food. That would mean serving in the kitchen or cleaning up after lunch. They need to learn the value of a dollar.

When my parents were kids, if a mom or dad could not keep a child fed, clothed and out of the rain, as well as disciplined and educated, it was common for them to give the child(ren) up to more capable adults. The same should be done, now. Now more than ever.

Maybe you should be mad that min wage doesnt match cost of living instead of griping about programs that only take pennies out of your paycheck.
