In Italy........they are still closed. and no one in their right mind would go to one right now.

Some larger cities like New York or Los Angeles don't have any theaters open, and I have a friend in NY who went to New Jersey to see a movie. Personally I live in Ohio and my theaters never closed except for a short time when almost everything was shut down but that was only 3 weeks in the summer I think. It just depends on the regulations in your area as different states have made different rules, I would consider googling towns around you to see if their theaters are open and, worst case scenario you may have to drive across state lines to get to one.
