The Macbook pro is several times more powerful, but also several times more expensive. If money is no object the Macbook, if you only browse the web with your computer and don't play games the Chromebook is a much better buy.

That’s like asking what’s better, a can of beans or a 12 course dinner. MacBook all the way. You get a Chromebook if you cannot afford anything better.
