Why do Republicans not talk about policy anymore?
Why is it all Culture War garbage you would read out of a tabloid magazine? Is it because their policies are so terrible that they would much rather talk about Mr.Potato Head and Dr.Suess?

You got it. The Republican official platform is filled with planks that the majority of Americans don't like. And they, the GOP, are just beginning to realize it. With the charisma of Trump out of the picture, they have to rely on their platform to attract voters, but the platform is weak and shaky. It's falling apart...and so is the Republican Party.
