Is it a scam if someone asks me to pay razor gold?

I got my Tinder account banned and to get it unbanned, I e-mailed customer service and they said to get it unbanned it costs a lot and one payment they accept are Razor Gold payments. Is this a scam and if it isn't a scam and if it is legit, would it be completely legal for me to use my credit card and buy myself a razor gold gift card for $100.00 on there and send it to myself so I could e-mail the person if I don't know if it is a scammer or not? Is this actually legal? I mean this isn't consider money laundering if I am trying to make a purchase for myself but by using a razor gold gift card instead to pay someone is it?

Of course this is a scam.  How could it be anything else?  Look at the headers of the email you received.  Find the sending IP and locate its country using Google.  I'm betting it originates in Nigeria.  Then find a better way to spend your time, Tinder is for sad people.
