If supermarkets are closed during lockdown how do people get there food?

Are they supposed have food in their house or do they get food in a different way?

They roam the streets looking for any houses that don't appear to be well defended. Then they kick in the door and help themselves to whatever they can find.

Supermarkets are ESSENTIAL businesses.  They are  NOT shut down.  Never have been.  Never will be.
