if God is all-powerful, all-glorified. What would he be a jealous God? What is he Jealous of?

His omnipotence consists only of him being the single most powerful being we shall ever encounter.  Nobody can do everything imaginable, not even God.  Please ignore the philosophers.

All-glorified?  What does that even mean?  The Bible does not claim that for God.

God knows it's better for us to deal with him than to fantasize about idols.  He uses the term "jealous" because jealousy is something we understand.

People in the US (and maybe elsewhere) confuse the words 'jealous' and 'envious'.  Envious is when you want something someone else has.  Jealous is when you're afraid someone is going to take away something you have.

The God of Abraham is said to be a 'jealous' God because he wants control, he wants all the prerogatives.  When people behave like God (we say they're 'playing God'), then God gets jealous because they are taking away his leadership, his mastery of the situation, his control.
