Yes we are because we are actually seeing many Bible prophecies being fulfilled in our day. For instance, at Matthew 24:6 it speaks of a time of wars and rumors of wars....and every day we either read or view on the news where there’s warfare somewhere on the earth.
The world has lost its natural affection or fellow feeling for humanity.
We also witness food shortages and famine even in prosperous lands, it’s no longer a plague of third world countries.
Yes, we are certainly in the last days of a system of things, however, the good news is this: after the destruction comes a brand new world where RIGHTEOUSNESS will dwell. 2 Peter3:13

Armageddon is only mentioned in the book of the Revelation. What does it say? "Then they [the spirits of demons] gathered the kings [of the earth] to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon" (ch. 16: vs 16). That is the result of a 6th angel pouring out his bowl of plagues. Then the 7th plague-bowl is poured out from heaven on to the earth; read the whole chapter. To determine if we are close to Armageddon, the previous six plague-bowls must have already been poured out. A great deal of study of the book of the Revelation is required to see where we are in the prophetic stream of time.
One big clue is that all the previous plagues result in most people cursing God and refusing to repent. Here's a recent example of this, when 7 Protestants were legitimately speaking to people in Glasgow last September. On Byres Road, some became hostile. One shouted, "Where's your God now? This virus must have caught him sleeping!" Another yelled, "If there's a God, we wouldn't have to put up with this stupid lockdown." And, "Your silly religion has a lot to do with this Corona business." Also, "Why is your God causing so much pain and deaths?"
Such views shows that people simultaneously (and illogically) blame God and Christianity for such plagues as this recent pandemic, while claiming God cannot exist. They fulfill Rev. 16:9-10. But more is to happen before Armageddon actually starts. Trouble is, when it does, it will be without warning. Those who don't believe in God and who have disbelieved the gospel of Christ, will be caught napping, as Jesus said in Matthew 24 where increasing pestilences will be a sign but most people will ignore all the signs (as they did in Noah's day), then disaster will be upon them. It will be too late to repent then. So, take note of the increase in curses against God when pestilence and famine etc get ever-worse. That is to be observed even now - by those with eyes to see. Yes, we are drawing ever-closer to God's war against the ungodly.
Paul
God Himself, in the Person of Jesus Christ, said that no-one would know the time, that He would come "like a thief in the night", when we least expect it. So there is no point in guessing.
