Is it an honor to accept an engagement ring that belonged to FMIL?

I was a little worried at first but am begging to think it's a great honor.  She and my FFIL are great people wonderful parents and a lot of Love 💕 beginning to think not begging

They must love you a lot, to offer that ring. Yes Its a honor. Where it proudly, one day you can pass it on to your child.

It can be.   Perhaps it has nothing to do with you.  Maybe the mom promised the ring to the son to use when he proposes.
Men should not assume every women is going to want his mother’s ring.

If you accept it, be sure to have it cleaned and checked out by a reputable jeweler.  Chance are the setting prongs will have to be replaced due to water and tear.

Yes, it is. I don't think any gesture by a future MiL could be more welcoming.
