Atheists, what is the most convincing literature supporting atheism?

Simple, and to the point, without much brain-racking arguments or logic.
Addressed to the modern mind, in present day English.
With practical arguments appealing to the average mind , not form a philosophical point of view.

You want to see some literature supporting the proposition that I don't believe in God?  Sorry, I guess you'll just have to take my word for it.
I don't believe in anything that lacks empirical evidence.  The evidence for your existence is kind of marginal.

proof thats all we ask , show use god , get him to go down the bar with me for a drink and something to eat , then i will believe in him , go on christians , give us undisputable proof , not just words from your book with no author . You cant can you . You cant even prove christ can you .

The bible.

No one rational could read that collection of insane and absurd barbaric bad fan fiction, and believe a word of it.

The bible is by far the best anti religion book. Its so full of nonsense that its embarrassing to humanity that anyone believes it.
Try bible based books like
God: The most unpleasant character in all fiction.
Drunk with Blood: Gods killings in the bible
And for a personal story with some well researched pulling apart of Christianity try Godless by Dan Barker

I agree with what Isaac Asimov said: "Properly read, the Bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived."  If you read the Bible with an open mind and try to actually make sense of it then it can only lead to one conclusion: it's a load of rubbish.
