How do I stop eating?

I keep shoving food down my throat even when I'm not hungry. The pounds keep increasing. What do I do?

Nice on you for recognizing the problem.   Seriously,  it's rare.

Your hunger should shut down when your cells are full and the hormone leptin is released and tells your brain to stop the hunger hormone ghrelin.

Except YOUR leptin is being prevented by the fructose in sugar,  HFCS, honey, nectar, juice, molasses, syrups and white flour products on a regular basis.

Stop consuming those and 85% of the fat problem (meaning perhaps more for you) will be over and your body will STOP overeating and then STOP fat creation (neolipigenesis) and then via the process known as ketosis,  your body will burn the calories stored in your fat cells...even all night.

In weeks you'll be thinner and negating the aforementioned will make for a permanent change.

Easier said "Eat ONLY whole foods and drink ONLY water, unsweetened teas and unflavored milk AKA the human diet.

Your body is the result of STRAYING from the diet we evolved with.
