If they won more than they lost it wouldn't be a problem.
"Honey I just won $25,000. - no problem
"Honey we are losing the house" - big problem

If you are playing Casino games with decent odds like Roulette, Poker, and Blackjack you will win about half of the time you play. The problem for a lot of people is not quitting while they are ahead and then the house odds start to catch up with them and they get their asses burnt.
