"Get away" with what?
Chauvin is facing three counts:
1) 3rd degree murder
2) 3rd degree unintentional murder
3) 2nd degree manslaughter
The problem with the first two counts is that they were included for political gain and to appease the angry public that demanded to see the word "murder" in his charges.
Proving murder in court, however, takes facts judged against legal code and definitions....not public opinion. Even with the notion of "unintentional" part in the second count, the prosecution must prove that Chauvin intended to inflict bodily harm. Even though it was excessive in nature, his actions were aimed at restraint (he did not beat, kick or actually choke Floyd).
I think the 2nd degree manslaughter charge will likely stick due to the excessive nature of his actions.... the problem is that many will see that as him "getting away with murder".
If the summer of riots was really about "justice" then they wouldn't have devolved into riots.... What you saw last year was anger....and that anger wasn't just about George Floyd....
If feelings prevail over common sense again, there will be violence .... and if "justice" is really your goal, should Chauvin be sacrificed just to appease angry masses? Isn't that what lynch mobs do?

Chauvin didn't kill Floyd. Will you ever get that through your thick skull?
?
Hell no, he DEFINITELY won't be getting away wit it even if they find him not guilty.
If we can't get justice in the courts..................

And yet you can't link to a single "legal expert" saying that. Curious.
With Chauvin's chief of police saying Chauvin 'absolutely' violated policy while restraining Floyd that way after handcuffing, the manslaughter charge is a slam dunk.
