Why most white people are attractive?
I'm an east asian.(Japanese)
I'm actually jealous of their beauty.
most white people I see in Tokyo are tall, have blue ,green or brown eyes and brown or bronde hair!
And they seem to have longer legs than ours.
So I cannot help but wish I were a white.
Maybe it's because they have everything about looks that we don't have?

Why are beetles so popular in Japanese culture ? and why do they keep huge beetles and huge crickets as pets in Japan ?
Favorite Answer:They are popular with children and it's not just any beetles, but 2 specific species called, stag and rhinoceros beetles. To understand why these insects and others are popular you have to understand that even though we do not know when it began, there is an almost tradition that young children, especially boys, would catch these beetles during summer and kept them as pets. It is almost a traditional childhood activity. If you were growing up in Japan, seeing other children collecting beetles, you would feel left out if you didn't.
There are other reasons, too For example, most Japanese cannot afford or allowed by their apartments to keep pets such as a cat or dog. Food being as expensive as it is in Japan, keeping a cat or dog means additional expense. And as small as the typical family home is, a pet is just not practical. But an insect like a beetle is easy to keep.

Is there a way to get myself and then my mom a permanent visa in Japan?
I’d like to move to Japan after graduating university ( maybe working as an English teacher) but I would also like to get my mom to stay in Japan as well. She doesn’t have a university degree and she will be retiring soon so I don’t think a work visa would work either. Any suggestions?

Dangerous to visit Japan for the Olympic game?
Do you know thousands of covid patients in Japan no longer have any available vacant hospital beds and increasing number of patients at home are waiting for death or spontaneous recovery? Some hundreds have died already, and the number of that kind of deaths are increasing day by day.
This means, if people around the world come to Japan for the Olympic game, then they cannot be treated at any hospital in Japan, because the hospitals are already full.

Were whites and Japanese possessed by demons during the world wars ?
Although this has nothing to do with me but it often gives me the shiver when thinking about it. They killed and tortured too many people, I know in the past people were conquering and killing each others but this was done recently not longer than 100 - 200 years ago and people should have been more civilized in the 1800s or 1900s. it was not a Mongol era. Why did whites and Japanese do such horrible thing ? this will always be remembered and regretted. Esp. Japan with the Nanking massacre, done really recently and to innocent civilians...
Other people like Mongols did it in ancient time not recently.

My son thinks he’s Japanese ?
My wife and I are white Americans. We have zero Asian ancestry in our DNA to my knowledge. If so, it’s beyond what we can track.
What began as an interest in Japanese culture for my son has turned in to something far more than that. At age 9, he started asking me about where Japan is on a map after watching a tv show about a Japanese character.
He has always been interested in Japanese type fictional characters in comics, tv, etc. he is now a teenager, and he has joined all kinds of Japanese groups online, and dresses like what someone would dress in traditional Japanese culture. He began attending a Shinto Shrine as well.
I don’t have a problem with any of this at all but he has openly said that he feels he is Japanese, and identifies as such. He talks about a past life in feudal Japan and feels strongly associated with that and has even gone as far as saying that he was “born” to the “wrong family”.
Parents: I am truly lost as to what to do, if anything. He even marks down “Asian” and writes in “Japanese” on questionnaires.
How would you approach this?
