How do you download something from bittorent, but not using any program like, JUST downloading it locally?
Just like downloading anything normaly, becuase isn't the information held on a romote computer, then you download it from them? so couldnt you download it without any program?

You have to have a program to communicate with peers and trackers. And technically it is not on a remote computer. The file is shared on many computers with new sources changing all the time.
When you download a torrent, the first file you download has the actual files infomation, and tracker location.
