how do you get the smell of dead cat off a mattress?

um... a better question would be, why does your mattress smell like a dead cat?? lol... diluted bleach will most likely work, but then it will smell like bleach which is not a very pleasant smell either. If you can put it in an area where it can air out that is probably best. And spray, spray, spray with febreeze!!
