My employer is trying to fire me because I am pregnant. Do I have to tell them that I am recording our conversation?

About two months ag I went to the Gyno for my annual. The first time in about 4 year. I tol him i was having some pain and he sent me to get an ultrasound. They found this 8cm cyst on my left ovary, he sent me for an MRI a month later to see if it changed. He told me that this cyst has been there for at least 4 years because it showed up on a CT Scan I had when I had a Kidney stone.

I go in tomorrow to talk about what we should do. I am just looking for questions that will help me to become better informed when I go in tomorrow.

I purchased two orchid plants at Costco last year. I purchased them when they were blooming. They have not bloomed since. My parents have an orchid that blooms every 3 months or so. All the plants get the same South/East Exposure to the sun. Any ideas would be great, I am starting to think they will never bloom. :(

I have several jade plants growing in one pot. I got this at IKEA a while ago. the plants have been growing well, I would like to seperate them so that they can continue to grow and do well. In the past I have had bad luck with Jade, any advice would be beneficial.

I teach Kindergarten and am currently struggling with having the children spell phoneticall or by ear versus forcing correct spelling. What do you do in your Kindergarten, preschool or first grade classroom?

I work as a substitute teacher, I am required to drive to different schools every day. Can I deduct my transportation costs as a job related expense?

I have worked for the past year as a Substitute Teacher in Portland Oregon. There have been a few good days but a lot of bad days. Where kids are stealing from me, lying, causing problems and being generally bad. I am not sure I can do this. There are days when everything goes smoothly and I love being a teacher but those are far and few between. I am looking for your stories as well as any advise you may have.

I am going to be a Bridesmaid in my friends wedding, I need to find out if my slip should be the same length as the skirt or shorter. I don't normally wear skirts.

Here is the basic info about me:

I have a masters degree in Elementary/Childhood Education

I have complete a Student Teaching (6th Grade) experience and a Practicum Experience (Kindergarten)

The only other teaching experience I have is Substitute teaching for the last 4 months.

I am applying for teaching jobs at a job fair. Any and all help is appreciated.
