That is a very broad question, but there are some definite places I can recommend, and kid friendly.

Underground Atlanta (cultural shopping district) is unique and across from it is the Coke Museum (try every flavor from around the world- some are yuck!). CNN Center is a popular place, too. Then, of course Hard Rock Cafe.

For a bit more upper end shopping, visit the new Atlantic Station. They typically have outdoor entertainment (bands and whatnot) during the day and evening. Nearby is IKEA, a must see! It is a fabulous HUGE design center with low prices. They have good food in the cafeteria there, too, and cheap.

The FOX Theatre is a must if you can get tickets for a show. Up I-85 a bit is Discover Mills (a shopping "mall" with a skatepark and huge Bass Pro Shop). Also off I-85 is the Mall of Georgia. It is massive with lots to shop, eat, and do. They have an ice skating rink open for the season. But inside is IMAX, stadium movie theatre, Nascar-experience, and more. Be sure to stop at Godiva for some chocolates. :) Avoid the Mexican place just outside the food court entrance.

There is lots more to do! Have fun!

Oh wow........so many! Depends on if you like shopping, sports, partying, sight seeing........etc. Here are a few:

    Stone Mountain

    Cocoa Cola Museum

    Olympic Park

    Fox Theater

    Six Flags

    Lennox Square

The Varsity (great greasy hot dog joint!)

    Peachtree Road (so much!)

Underground Atlanta (good shopping and nightlife)

so much more! this only scratches the surface!

you truly opt to bypass to the Coke museum! it is rather staggering! in my opinion i imagine the former one grow to be extra useful, regardless of the undeniable fact that the recent one continues to be rather cool. do not bypass to the aquarium. it grow to be boring and extreme priced. you may want to bypass to the zoo, it is more cost-effective and a lot less boring than the aquarium yet nonetheless no longer very thrilling. 6 flags over Georgia is superb!!! in case you bypass, get there early and holiday superman and goliath absolutely!! in case you meant like golf equipment I even do no longer recognize yet those are relaxing museums/sights!!!
