Press Ctrl-PrtScrn to copy the screen to your computer.
Open a photo editing program or a word processor. Click in the window. Press Ctrl-V to paste the screen shot into the program.
If you are using a photo editor, save the picture as a .jpg.
If you're using a word processor, save the document as a .html file. When you do that, the picture will be saved as a .jpg file.

1. Look for a Print Screen or "prt sc" or "prnt scrn" button near the top right of your keyboard. Press it. This copies a screen shot to your clipboard.
2. Go into paint or Photoshop or any other image editing program.
3. Paste (Paste as New Image if that's an option - it's simpler and easier).
4. Adjust image size and resolution.
5. Save as a jpg.
6. Attach the jpg file to an email to send it.

Press Ctrl + Print Screen (this is the button above where the insert and delete keys are located). Then you can just paste it into whatever you are sending

Alt + Print screen will take a snapshot of the active application. Shift + Print screen will take a snapshot of what your screen looks like. Once you do one of these you can paste it into an email, word, etc.

I believe you just have to hit the "prt scrn" key. that puts it into your clipboard. then open the paint program (start/programs/accessories/paint) and paste it in there from the edit command.
There's some good shareware you can install that captures and saves in jpeg called Gadwin Print Screen that you can get at http://www.gadwin.com/printscreen/
