Is what happens when you die based on some pre-set "thing" that will happen exactly the same for everyone, or is it based on what a person BELIEVES will happen?
Both. You see what your beliefs tell you to in your last moments of life. When you die your concious dies, so even if you turn to dust and particles. Eventually your particles are mixed back into the earth, or even another living being, however "you" no longer exist since all we really are is what we have in our memories.
Death is death, it does not continue on, but you can spend your last moments believing it does.

Death is an illusion. we never die.we just change the dimensions. The human beeing is a picture of GOD...and as GOD is an eternal Beeing so we are. But we are not perfect...we cannot live the positive and the negative energy in balance, that is the reason we are destroying our physical life-form called body in about 50 - 70 years (earth-time). We have not only one body. we have 7 bodys, like the skins of an oignon. with every of our bodies we are linked to another dimension. when we die, it is just the physical body who dies. our Beeing, who is eternal goes on to exist. we come back in another body, re-born by other parents in an other culture in an other sexe, with an other skin-coulour...all religions are accepting that eternal truth except the christians, the most primitive religion on earth.
