In the end, who is really forcing who with religion?
The holidays are finally over and I feel I can now ask. There are so many different religions and some make claims that they are being censored, opppressed or prohibited from openly practicing their faith. There is also the push by religious groups to influence public/government policy and steer the norm in the direction that favors their particular belief. Will all parties ever reach a tolerance, acceptance and respect for each others views no matter how their views differ?

Perhaps not in our lifetime. The PRACTICES of religion are the major hot buttons, not the main theology. The secularists in the USA are just as much at fault for the controversy as the devout of whatever persuasion. America is more torn by this upheaval than its neighbour to the north, Canada. It should be noted that Europe is coping (unsuccessfully so far) with much more serious social effects of controversy with the proponents of Islam (and we're not talking little items like the displaying of a creche or wishing one another "Merry Christmas". Fasten your seat belts; it's going to be a rough road ahead for quite a while.

Christians want to stamp out all other religions. George Bush said that my religion shouldn't exist. As for the Happy Holidays thing. There are like 15 major celebrations between late November and early January. So with the rise of minorty religions in the US and the world, why should we only credit Christianity. There are still plenty of commercial homages to christmas and there always will be. So stop whining and try to love your neighbors whatever religion they may be.

Of course not. Is like you are asking a man to take off his face and put on someone's else's face. Or asking a person to do complete do a 360 and change. It can't be do. Remember the two great conversations are always found in religion and politics. The controversy will never ever die, unless God stops it or they include love as the third greatest conversation maker!! Yeah, selfishness is the greatest fault in mankind and those two topics are fueled by it. We need LOVE!!!

No One in a free country is forced into a religion for example America is not forcing anyone into a religion.
Other countries like Iran have a strict religion where everyone is moslems. I could be wrong but the law focuses around the Moslem religion and if you will not follow this religion you can pay with your life.
I am not religious but sometime I say to myself why would it matter if I am religious or not. To me its up to an individual to choose if they want to be religious and no one shouild be forced into religion.

Yes. It is prophesied that the earth will accept a man that will produce a one world ecumenical religion that will bring peace to the world for at least three and a half years. He is labeled in scripture as the antichrist. Read my study below to get Jesus' take on the various religious denominations.
