What is your Pets names and why did give it to them?

I personally prefer descriptive names for a pet as their name tells you so much about their personality..But then again a pet name could still be used as a human name but still be descriptive of the animal...It just all depends.. I have a little chihuahua named Missy and yeah that name to me really suits her. I also have 2 zebra finches named Beauty and Beast i love their names it says everything about their personalitys lol... What do you prefer?

I don't know about pets. Four cats live in the same house as my family (the felines' staff).

The oldest is Clifford (my son named him).

The next is Pilgrim (a true puritan) who has the nickname Oozle because he does not like to be picked up and can oozle out of anyone's hands. The boys are both black cats.

The youngest are the girls: Power Puff (a long haired Tabby with only a half of tail that looks like a pom-pom) and Poltergeist (a tiny whisp of gray spotted next to nothing with a stump for a tail).

Samuel Adams Jackson, he is a Black Lab, hen I got him his eyes were blue, and he had a personality (still does) like my Grandfather who had passed away earlier in the year, so I named my dog after my Grandpa, I know my Grandpa would approve. Thats how Sam got his first name.

His two Middle names well he startet our being Samuel Adams G*** (My last name) So his initial spelled SAG, I wanted his initials to spell something. When I yelled his whole name at him when he was getting in trouble the name just didn't have enough ring to it so I added the Jackson.

People think I named him after the beer, but I didn't.

we have 4 dogs and 1 cat. the dogs are: female black poodle, named Sadie, it just seemed to fit her. Black schipperke named Koda Bear cause she looked like a bear cub when we got her, a silver dapple doxie named Molly( already named when given to us and finally, but not least is her daughter, a red doxie named Cinnamon. The cat is Abby because she is crossed between an Abbicinian and an Ocicat

We have a Dog, his name is Dodger. My husband loves the LA Dodgers. We have 4 cats, Niko, Gabby, Ginger, and Spot. Niko is a Siamese...her name just popped into my head! Gabby is named Gabby because she meows all the time. Ginger came with her name and she is a Tiger cat. It fits her! And Spot I found as a stray and he has a white spot on him. He is such a lazy cat after we named him we found that he picks his spot for the day and stays there all day. My last pet is a rabbit named Mr. Bitz, no idea where I got this but again it just popped into my head and that is his name! We love our pets!

My dog (a 4 yr old rottweiler)is named Zeus, not entirely sure why we named him that. My cats name is Mrs. Bigglesworth (from Austin Powers) but we call her Kitty because Mrs. Bigglesworth is just too much of a mouth full.

I have a dog name Charlie. I name him that because he has a round head like Charlie Brown in the comics. He is also brown.

My dog's name is Lani. She is a shih tzu/lahso Aphso mix. After my family and I got her we were driving home and throwing names out there. Lani is the only Lani everyone agreed on.

I have a cat named Azriel. I love the smurfs

my cats name is bobbie we found her on the side of the street when someone threw her out of the car.we named her bobby because she has a stub and looks just like a bobcat.:)
