    Good question! You'd give you points if there's this kind of option...

    First, I'm for any effort to protect privacy after recent personal privacy breach from US Government.

    In this case, the good cause is a justification. Moreover, the information is statistical, not personal.

    However, it should never be a must to Google to release their database or to put it differently, give away their properties.
