DOT COM vs DOT CO.UK?
MY email address is registered at YAHOO.CO.UK.
UNTIL recently I got my mail; now people emailing me there get the dreaded mailer-daemon saying that the address is invalid.
WHEN I sign in at .co.uk I get into my box but the address is yahoo.com.
MY friend registered at .co.uk after I did. She still is able to receive mail at .co.uk.
I went to yahoo.co.uk to try to reregister my address and was told it was taken.
BY me. I was able to enter.
MOREOVER when I was signing up for this forum I gave my reclaimed address I received this notice:
Invalid Email Address.Your Email address x@yahoo.co.uk belongs to yahoo.co.uk which is restricted from use in Yahoo! registrations. Please choose a different email address.
WHAT is going on?
WHY should I not be able to get my emails at yahoo.co.uk when my friend does?
Re Ritesha's answer, my ID WAS registered at yahoo.co.uk; that's the whole point.
Let me say it again:
I REGISTERED AT .co.uk
Until recently I was able to receive mail sent to me at .co.uk.
NOW, though I can log in at .co.uk or .com, MAIL SENT TO ME AT .CO.UK IS NOT DELIVERED.
Instead the mailer-daemon tells all senders that there is no such address.
WHY do I not get any input from yahoo on this???

I hope you've found help with this by now. This seems a bit advanced for regular users on Yahoo! Answers, though. Try contacting the Yahoo! Mail team through the help button which is at the top of every page.

Please note one thing here, that if you are able to log in at mail.yahoo.co.uk, that does not mean that your id is registered at @yahoo.co.ok. Appearenlty all yahoo users can log into yahoo mail from any yahoo mail log in page.
Now to your question about you not getting mails to your .co.uk account. Well, if oyu see mail address as xyz@yahoo.com, and you are sure that it used to be xyz@co.uk, that means that it was changed some time. Now I dont see a reason why that would be done, and who would do that, or whether that can be done at all.
I think for now, you can keep using the @yahoo.com email address.
Or you can try deleting this id, and create an ew account at yahoo.co.uk using the same id. This would mean that your old account mails would be lost for ever.
