How do I clean the monitor part of my laptop safely?

I have a relatively new Dell and it has some spots on it. I don't know what's safe to use....

    There are special wipes you can purchase to clean them with. They are individually wrapped, like towelettes. You can get them at any computer supply store. Walmart also has them.

    Laptops don't have monitors, i believe. Only home computers has monitors.

    If you are talking about the LCR screen, that's on the laptops, u can simply purchase something in the computers stores.U get a dry clean cloth to clean it OR a damp cloth, wipe when the computer is cold and off, and later wipe with a dry cloth.

    windex works really well, don't put to much on the screen though
