Pl*co feeding question?

I've heard that pl*c's love fresh veggies, such as cucumbers. How do you typically feed them? I'm concerned about the wax that is added to fruits/veggies in supermarkets. Do you peel them? Chop them up or simply anchor a slice down on the bottom of the tank for the pl*co to nibble away at, wax and all?

Just wash them in warm water cut them up in slices and put into tank! It is good for them and it replaces alge if there isn't any it the tank!

In our pet store this is how we feed our Placo's!

Cut the veggies in slices. Then rubberband them to rocks and put them in the tank. Without the rocks they will float.

I don't know about cucumber, but clip a piece of romaine lettuce to rim of the tank so it hangs in. Buy organic if you are worried about chem.
