This is kind of a lopp sided question as it is always easier to complain about whatever we currently have. However in this case the answer would be George W. Bush. I have read some of the answers that you have gotten and some are based on complete misconceptions. Yes our economy was better under the Clinton Administration, however that was due to the fact that the things that Reagan did for the economy were finally bearing fruit. By the end of the Clinton years we were back into recession that plagued the early Bush Administration. Clinton campaigned in 1992 promising National Health Insurance, however in his 8 years as President was not even able to get it to the floor of Congress. Clinton had Congress's approval for the same reasons as Bush did in 1998 to go to war with Iraq, yet he never followed through with it. If we blame Bush for making mistakes in his reasons for going to war with Iraq, Congress and the President made the same mistake in 1998. What seems to be a common thing for both the American Public as well as our Politicians is a short attention span and a short memory. In retrospect most Americans now think of Nixon as being a good President as well as a great statesman, yet in 1974 he was the most hated man in history moving Hitler to number 2 for the first time in over thirty years.

Agreed with fifthcircle and damond, Bush is by far a more moral and upstanding President than Clinton could ever have been. Read a bit about Arkansas laws the ol' Billy instituted while he was governor, like Confederate Flag Day... It's the Saturday before Easter. If we could have Bush another 4 years people could see what he has done to fix the screwed economy that Billy boy left us holding. Clinton should have been in Iraq his second year, but he has no nads. Can you say ENRON?

It would have to be George Bush. He has giving us more tax refunds than Clinton ever did. He also rules America during the worse possible time, something that Bill Clinton would not be able to hadle as well. He also served his "years" in the army.
He is an overall good president, and trys to help us out. However, due to the recent spying, I am a bit less supporting of him. Even though it may help our country by spying on our citizens doing things wrong, it is a bit unethical.
Bush is also a more moral than Clinton would ever be.

Bush! Hands down. Okay first off Clinton lied under oath to excape accountability. Two things I am very passionate about. Lying and dodging accountability. If you do something wrong stand up be a man and admit it. Lying is the utmost point of disrespect. You either think I am so stupid I don't know the truth, or you think I am stupid enough I will not find out the truth, or you think I am so spineless I wont call you on it right to your face. These are principals my young children (11&4) have come to accept and respect. Second off Clinton had no family morals and was a disgrace as the "first family" of The United States of America. I understand people are people but keep in in your pants while you represent me and mine to the rest of the world, let alone the children of our nation. It did however make for some really funny Saturday Night Live skits. Okay back to the point, then there is gun control. That wack job liberal was making list of guns we legal US citizens could no longer own legally. If guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns. His laws only restricted legal law abiding citizens from owning guns, a violation of our rights. I could go on and on.
Now Bush. Here is a man with principals he values and stands behind. No flip floping. He is willing to do whatever it takes to protect and defend this nation and all it stands for. Whatever it takes! He doesn't give in. He stands up and defends us. Now the liberals out there are going to start crying about the presence of WMDs. It doesn't matter if Saddam had them or not. He played a game of chicken with the UN weapons inspectors and the Mighty United States and lost. He is an evil man and the whole world is better off without him in power. Furthermore, Bush is not a great public speaker, but I don't want a great public speaker I want a leader. Someone who will stand up to his convictions, someone who is less concerned with public opinion and more concerned with public saftey. God bless Presedent Bush history will judge him as a great man in trying times.
I do however think most people will post that Clinton was a better president. I personally think this is a sad reflection on our society. Disolving our moral principals. People seem to hate all war time leaders.

By far, Bush. He's gotten a lot of crap for having to rebuild what Clinton tore down! It's hard in a forum like this to explain exactally what's happened to the economy as a result of 8 years of taxes through the roof, and what the impact of the economy is, well, look around and you can see exactally what's going on. A lot of folks went through those times with a false sense of security, thinking things were all peaches and cream. those are the same folks who are keeping the lawyers wallets fat, while they are going bankrupt

Bill Clinton did a much better job with the economy than George Bush has. George Bush is doing illegal wiretaps and his administration has done poorly with handling domestic disasters.

Well since "w" is the worst ever. No i'm not a dem. as bad as some may think Clinton was worst is worst. Even more corrupt then Grant. Thats hard to do. A good leader can see when something isn't working and fix it or change it. Not stick to a bad decision.

it would have to be clinton.
cutting taxes during wartime is not only stupid but irresponsible. with the tax cuts the national deficit went from a surplus to billions in the red. analyists say that if the tax breaks had not occured we would not be in such deep debt right now. The next stupidest thing bush can do is try to extend the tax cuts when they expire.
