It's not a major sport, and it's definitely isnt the NFL's minor league, NFL EUrope and college plays that role. It's a fun little niche sport that really isn't to bad.

It's not major. I wouldn't even say it's NFL minor league, since the rules are totally different. It's a separate, oddball sport all by itself. It's starting to gain popularity, but it's nowhere near the NFL, MLB or NBA.

It is a major sport. If you can't make it in the NFL, the AFL is the next best thing.

Yes and no. Some say it's just like the pros and others say it is like little leage or rec'.
