Do we need more AA coaches in the NFL?

    Yes and no. Teams should always hire the best person available, regardless of skin color, so there shouldn't be a quota system. I know the NFL makes each team interview at least one black candidate for any head coaching position. They should do the same for assistant coaches, if they don't already. If African Americans have access to those positions, they will naturally get experience to move up in the ranks if they prove themselves.

    I think that we do, but the NFL isn't necessarily a minority case. I think first you need to get more AA coaches in the NCAA.

    Yes, and I thought for sure there were going to be a couple more. They interviewed for the jobs, so I don't know why more didn't get hired. Someone should ask the owners who made the hires why they didn't hire a minority coach.

    all of the minority coaches need to get more qualified for a head coaching job b4 everyone starts complaining that they aren't getting hired...maybe they all should tryout 4 an NCAA coach...there aren't enough black ncaa coaches now!
