Heat the grease in a pan to a lightly smoking and then add self rising flour. Mix evaporated milk and water 1 can , with water to desired amount. Pour in the milk mixture and stir. Keep stiring till you get the desired thickness. If the gravy doesnt thicken mix a little corn starch with water and add small amounts till you get the desired thickness.

Add flour to your hot grease or oil a little a time while stirring vigorously add black pepper to taste. Then add water to smooth out the texture of your oil and flour. You may also add other seasonings as well. Remember, stir, stir and stir again for a really good gravy.
