It has been around exactly 3 months with 2 weeks and as you can see is still a Beta, which Yahoo! is still working and analyzing if it works.

I don't know the exact date but I think it was about 3 months ago. You can search for questions 3 months old, but I haven't seen any 4 months old.
I was just corrected. Not sure if this is true but a friend of mine says that it started in beta around last May.

1. A question is open for 7 days from the day you asked it)
2. If you like the answer you just got, you can choose it as the best answer.
3. If you've already gotten two or more answers, you can ask others at Yahoo! Answers to vote for the best one.
4. Extend your question's expiration date so that it will remain open for answers for a longer period of time.
To prevent future questions with multiple answers from automatically going to a vote, simply return to Yahoo! Answers within 7 days of asking your question, and take one of the following actions:
1. Choose a best answer.
2. Delete your question.
3. Extend the expiration date to continue accepting new answers.
