It does not. Jesus even said of His own Church: "I pray *not* that thou shouldest *take them out of the world*, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil." -- John 17:15

Bible Scholars are agreed that non-believers will go through the Tribulation.

However, they do not agree on when the Rapture (removal of believers from the world) will occur. Opinions are split nearly equally between Pre-Trib, Mid-trib, and Post-Trib.
