Why do conservatives want to kill everything?

(I'm assuming the question about conservatives is merely an example of the type of speech you are really asking about.)

It's because reasoned political discourse is rare in our society. Intelligent debate has long ago been drowned out by name-calling, sound bites, and invective hurled from both sides of the political spectrum. When you have the Bill O'Reillys and the Michael Moores casting the other side as traitors, crooks, liars, and hypocrites, is it any wonder that the general populace does the same?

There is no willingness to believe that the other side has good intentions, or might have good ideas. The Right has done a wonderful job turning "Liberal" into a sneer word, while the left increasingly says "Conservative" with a roll-eyed "You know how *they* are" expression.

So let me see if I can sum up politics in America as succinctly as I can. Republicans are evil, authoritative bastards who want to ram Christian living down the nation's throat while simultaneously raping the environment, turning business loose to squeeze every last dime out of the poor man, cutting any aid to the needy, and giving the rich whichever laws they can pay for. Democrats are evil, tree-hugging socialists who want to spread homosexuality, tax the rich man into oblivion so they can give free money to welfare mothers, burn the flag, have free abortions for all, and they want God dead. Moderate politicians are those who haven't been entirely bought and paid for yet, while moderate voters are just indecisive wimps who haven't seen that Our Side is superior in every way. The fringe parties like the Greens and the Constitution Party are just nutballs that don't matter anyway.

Why are you asking the question and complaining at the same time? You are human! Answer to the other? Well....I don't know if the "conservative" wants to kill anything, but if you look to the far right I think there is too much and to the far left....I'm not sure if there is such a thing as "too little", but if it's possible they are that.

Conservatices in Canada? I don't think they're destroyin geverything. They're going to increase Canada's army, but thats about it. The conservatives are trying to boost Canada's global voice, and the Liberals got themselves in a lot of trouble too. This is not to say that the COnservatives are so great, I believe that both Conservatives and Liberals are corrupt, so I do not take any standing point.

Because anyone that ever gets heard works only on the offensive. So conservatives may seemingly offensively defend there abilities to kill (tho wanting to is just an expression of wanting to be heard) and liberals offensively defend there defense of the killing by killing the attackers. Ironic and yet so fullfilling in that perfectly human way.

Conservatives can ask the same questions about non-conservatives.....everything that you are discussing is just a matter of opinion...everyone should be allowed an opinion! Both parties are known for "attacking" each other...wouldn't it be great to find a happy medium?

Im conservative and I dont want to kill anything. I do agree with you many of the so called questions are really alot of ranting.

sometimes the quick answer(destruction) may be the only logical answer. usually conservatives are killing off anything/ anyone who is not conservative. its unfortunate but our society is becoming more violent as a whole everyday. God has the answer. many will not like it when God put his answer into motion. pray a lot.

LOL! Well we Americans and we like to pass judgement. We like to express ourselves openly. I do not agree that conservatives want to kill every thing. They do not want unborn babies killed. After the baby is born they do'nt give a damn.

Conservatives by definition exist to protect property. Should something infringe on what they think is theirs (the whole world) they'll snuff it out, smear it, defame it, or destroy it.

Liberals by definition exist to preserve freedom and personal liberty.

Conservatives don't want to kill everything and liberals don't always want to raise your taxes.

We are not conservative, liberal or third party, we are first and foremost proud Americans.
