What does lengua taste like?

OMG, well, do Liver has a liver texture??, Tongue is a meat that prepared properly is a gourmet dish, most of the time is cooked in a tomato sauce, with mushrooms, and capers. It tastes just like any other fine meat. You wont recognize the texture at all, ok, but dont eat it anywhere, only at a specialized cook, if not it can get hard as rubber

well yes. but it is kind of plasticy but it is very good. you should make it in a taco form with lime, salsa, salt, cilantro, and onion(optional)
