    The marine was aquitted. One of many harsh injustices small countries must put up with from developed countries who abuse power. I wonder what would have happened if a Romanian soldier killed some redneck american country star in Washington DC.

    Small countries should start acting, dammit! Being money whores for big countries just doesn't pay off.

    To me, this bassically falls under a "Who Cares?" heading.

    Teo Peter? I have worked as a DJ for over 20 years, and never heard of the guy. And people die in accidents all the time. It is tragic, but that is life.

    And the site you linked to is hardly a source for news. It does not list a cause of the accident, or anything other then a commentary on his being removed.

    However, the Marine Guard did have diplomatic immunity. This is a long-standing international agreement, that all nations abide by. Diplomats have used it for decades to get out of crimes in the US, and other nations.

    It is not right, it is not wrong. It is simply how things are.
