How do you make fruit cake?

fruit cake is just one of those things. people make it and or buy it then give it to others but in reallity nobody really likes it and they either pawn it off on somone else or it ends up in the trash. thing is it is usually given as a gift and FEW people have the GALL to say hey you know the fruitcake you been giving me every year for the past 9 years well... nobody likes it and nobody eats it. i know somone who made a friend fruit cake gave it to them for christmas. 2 years later they got the very same cake back from somone else (a mutual friend)

I guess I am one of the "nano 0% of people on the planet" that likes fruitcake. (That's funny Jolly Roger) However, I've never made it. We always order it from Cabela's and it's called Grandma's fruitcake. It's seasonal though, so you can only get it around the holidays.
