I just purchased a '74 chevy c10 350 motor and the smog pump is seized. My question is: What is the purpose of the smog pump in this truck? and Should i fix/replace it?

I was recently terminated from my job because the position closed and the company no longer was able to keep it open. I found out the next day there was another person that they had hired to replace me. According to one of the managers, they had laid me off because i was out of the office for half an hour to an hour once a week due to my OB pregnancy check ups and that was affecting my performance. I never got warnings or anything about my performance. I just walked in to work and before going home for the day i was told i was being laid off. I live in California, is there any legal action i can take? I feel like i was wrongfully terminated.

I've had a watch for a while now, and i just noticed that it has two rings on the outside that goes clockwise from 05 (over 1:00) to 60 (over 12:00). It also has a second ring over that that goes counter-clockwise beginning at 60 (over 12:00) ending at 950 (over the 4 minute mark). Can anyone explain the functions of this?

I am writing a paper on what democracy means. Not only in the U.S. but what does democracy mean in OTHER countries. That being said if you can answer these simple questions. Please include country you are talking about.

I had my baby about 5 weeks ago. About 2 1/2 weeks ago, my wrist started hurting a little, and now it's to the point that it sometimes hurts to carry my baby from her crib.Sometimes my wrist will lock just a little then pop. It does hurt when that happens but i am able to move my wrist for another while before it happens again.

My question is, what is this? Does this condition have a name? and how can i alleviate the pain? I've tried the wrist brace, but it only helps so much.

I still plan to ask my doctor at the PP check up, but i just wanted to know if anyone has had this problem too.

I have two Orion 12" NT Carbon fiber dual voice coil subwoofers. They are NT not NT2 with the red and yellow logo on them.

I can't find the watts on it. Does anyone know roughly how many watts? Are they good subs?

If i live in california, which direction do i face to pray?( i live between Modesto and Fresno CA). And how did you come with this conclusion?

I am in the process of purchaceing a used vehicle.

I took a look at the vehicle and took it for a test drive, and it drives fine. It does not pull to any side, no jerking, NOTHING! and it passes smog etc. etc.

Before signing any papers i requested a CarFax, and it results that the vehicle (2001 mits. galant 4D Sedan) was in an accident. The history report tells me that there was a frame inspection performed and Frame damage was reported. There was/is damage to the right front and right rear of the car.

The car looks like new but that frame damage is bothering me, The chasis might be fixed... but does this pose any future headache? any advice on what to do?
