Wrist Pain After Birth?

I had my baby about 5 weeks ago. About 2 1/2 weeks ago, my wrist started hurting a little, and now it's to the point that it sometimes hurts to carry my baby from her crib.Sometimes my wrist will lock just a little then pop. It does hurt when that happens but i am able to move my wrist for another while before it happens again.

My question is, what is this? Does this condition have a name? and how can i alleviate the pain? I've tried the wrist brace, but it only helps so much.

I still plan to ask my doctor at the PP check up, but i just wanted to know if anyone has had this problem too.

Not sure what it is.....but I am wondering if you pulled or sprained something from carrying your baby all the time. Like you know sometimes when you lay in the same position for a long time and you wake up and it hurts...I have done this to my shoulder before...ankles and knees. i must sleep strange. But yeah....you probably carry your baby the same way every time you pick her up and its straining your wrist. That's all I can think of.
