what's more important in a job? Money or satisfaction?
I have two job offers. One would net me about $5,000 to $8,000 a year more, if you figure in the perks. The other one, however, would be more fullfilling and allow me to be creative. Is $5K a year really worth it? and no, the other job won't renegotiate for more money. I already tried that. need to make a decision soon.

The most important thing in a job is your relationship with your boss. It's the number one reason people leave jobs. Did you interview with your potential boss/manager for both jobs ?
"Satisfaction" is a broad term. Until you know who you are working with day-to-day and what types of work relationships you'll have, you can't really tell if you'll like / love a job before you start it (unless you are an independent contractor working completely alone).
Money should never be a factor when deciding on what to do with 2080 hours of your precious time each year - unless you get a truly insulting offer.

It depends on what is more important to you. Also, sometimes a job that is more fulfilling in the now is a dead end in the long run, or a job that offers more money now will have no future.
I had the same decision to made 4 years ago and chose the job with more money. Now I am stuck on a dead-end job and my friend who works with the company I rejected is moving up the ladder quite fast. So, I would think more about the future of the job instead of the present perks.

I would say that, in the long run, satisfaction will be more important. The more dissatisfied you are with your job, the sooner you will want to leave it and you may end up having to take a job paying less than either of your current offers just to get out. On the other hand, but allowing you to be more creative, the lower paying position will allow you to become more marketable because you have more opportunities to show what you can do ... and perhaps lead to more higher paying jobs in the future.

go for the one you are more content with and qualified for. You will probably save a lot in health care if you are happy. Remember, you are not tied to a job unless you sign a contract but don't start a bad work record....Good luck!!!

satisfaction. Money comes and goes, but if you love what you do you will feel better about having to get up every morning and go do it. Also, if you do what you like you will be WAY better at it, and that in itself could lead to more money.

Satisfaction. Time and enjoyment is worth far more than money, because money isnt worth anything.

There have been studies done on this. Satisfaction is always rated WAY higher than compensation.

the best thing in a job is to build a rough carrier and goes throught it till the end, don't look back.
