    The actor Henry Morgan who played "Col. Sherman Potter" had played the role of "Major General Bartford Hamilton Steele" in an earlier episode (beofore the arrival of the Col. Potter character) of M*A*S*H titled "The General Flipped at Dawn" (1974)
